Are Your Cells Struggling To Breathe? (May 2020) – Dr. Sebi's Cell Food - Dr. Sebi's Cell Food

Are Your Cells Struggling to Breathe?

Are you getting enough oxygen to thrive? Dr. Sebi taught us that oxygen fuels the body, not just food. Oxygen provides 90% of your energy, while only 10% comes from food. It is a nutrient and a fuel that detoxifies the blood and enhances cellular rejuvenation.

But even minor changes have a significant impact because oxygen fuels life. More than a few minutes without oxygen is sufficient to damage the brain.

Most people don’t breathe enough, and stressed, shallow breaths don’t deliver the oxygen we need. If you’re “under-nourished” with oxygen, your cells struggle to breathe, gasping for air, and you need more oxygen.

“It is oxygen the body needs, not rice or beans, or a piece of meat. We need oxygen; it is the fuel of the body.” – Dr. Sebi

Getting Energy From Oxygen

Every single cell needs oxygen to make bio-electrical energy. Oxygen from the air enters the lungs and diffuses into the blood to be transported around the body. We also breathe out waste products, including carbon dioxide.

Your cells and organs receive vital oxygen via a network of blood vessels. Arteries are the
highways taking blood to and from the heart and lungs at high pressure. These tubes get gradually thinner until they are tiny capillaries only wide enough for red blood cells in a single file.

Oxygen Deprivation

Cells on the outside of your body have their own oxygen supply. But organs deep inside rely on the oxygen delivered by the blood. The body is a single system; you can't heal just one piece at a time. If the lungs are congested, then oxygen levels are low, and disease will surely follow.

If the lungs are clogged with sticky mucus, it causes congestion, like a traffic jam. Narrow capillaries easily get blocked, and oxygen transport is reduced.

For example, the brain uses 20% of the total oxygen supply, despite only representing 2% of body weight. Brain fog and mental fatigue are the results of low levels of oxygen in fluids that surround the brain.

The brain doesn’t store energy, so a lack of oxygen is lethal. Any limitation of oxygen for a prolonged period of time deprives the brain of fuel (it uses 20% of your energy). Memory, judgment, and alertness quickly decrease when we’re not oxygenated enough.

A lack of oxygen also stops us from getting to sleep at night. When we sleep, the brain cleanses itself with rhythmical waves of fluid that wash over the surface. Insomnia, due to oxygen deprivation, makes people feel crazy and act insane. When the acids are detoxed, and oxygen levels are restored, sleep returns, and the body starts to heal again.

When oxygen levels drop (e.g. high elevations), symptoms include weakness, confusion, and extreme tiredness. Poor concentration, forgetfulness, and depressive thoughts are early warning signs of altitude sickness. Some causes of low blood oxygen include:

  • Asphyxiation: build-up of lung mucus physically stops air moving
  • Deforestation: fewer trees mean less oxygen, which is worse in urban areas
  • Dehydration: blood and lymph need fluid to flow and deliver oxygen
  • Elevation: being at high elevation reduces oxygen
  • Lungs: smoke reduces lung function and irritates cells
  • Nutrition: iron is a critical mineral for transporting oxygen to cells
  • Pollution: burning fossil fuels has reduced atmospheric oxygen by 2%
  • Stagnation: stale air has less oxygen and more contaminants

Importance of Oxygen for Our Cells

The link between oxygen and health seems obvious. A lack of oxygen is linked to cancer, leukemia, candida, and epilepsy. A lack of oxygen stresses the body and limits the energy available to heal properly. But the benefits of elevating oxygen include:

  • Boost concentration, enhance focus, elevate mental energy
  • Enhance mental performance, memory recall, and capacity
  • Greater muscular strength, and enhanced endurance
  • Improve concentration, and feel more alert
  • Increase fat burning and metabolic efficiency
  • Reduce stress, relieve tension headaches, calm anxiety
  • Recover quicker after exercise, preventing lactic acid build-up
  • Strengthen the immune system, improve sleep, and cleanse the blood

How to Get More Oxygen

Getting more oxygen into your cells uplifts every process in your body!

  • Breathing:Deeper, fuller, slower breaths of fresh air (fully expand lungs and diaphragm). Go outside to refresh, relax, and oxygenate your cells. Exhale the stale air out, and take deep breaths to bring fresh air in.
  • Exercise: Movement needs energy, making us breathe more. Training the lungs and heart by building up endurance increases oxygen efficiency.
  • Membranes: Oxygen enters the blood via moist air-sacs lining the lung (alveoli). Hydration, and smoke-free lungs, enhance the efficiency of oxygen exchange on the membrane.
  • Nutrition: Red blood cells contain 270 million units of hemoglobin, each with iron at its core. Iron has two electrical states allowing it to ‘pick-up’ and ‘put-down’ oxygen (like an electromagnet). Eat iron-rich foods, like leafy greens, to increase your iron levels.
  • Time in Nature: Breathe in the oxygenated air gifted to us by the trees. Alternatively, bring plants indoors to purify and nourish the air inside your home.

The Power of Plants

Dr. Sebi knew that iron (from the earth) and fluorine (from the sea) electrify the body. They enhance oxygenation, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. He traveled around Africa and South America in a quest to collect the most oxygenating plants to give life back to the body.

Equipped with new botanical ingredients utilizing plants harvested from the land and the sea, Dr. Sebi formulated Viento, with potent herbs and seaweeds that actively boost cellular oxygenation.

  • Chaparral from the Mexican dessert has powerful and unique antioxidants. The plant is famous for its longevity, and one plant is over 11,700 years old! Hunter-gatherers knew of its healing powers and used it for many different health conditions.
  • Bladderwrack is an anti-aging and mineral-rich 'herb of the sea' also in Dr. Sebi's Viento. It promotes digestion, aids weight loss, and prevents blood clots. It also reduces damage when oxygen levels get too low if the blood flow becomes restricted.
  • Valeriana reduces stress on the body by lowering blood pressure and helping you feel calm. It reduces feelings of anxiety, specifically during difficult times, making it an excellent addition to Dr. Sebi's Viento formula.
  • Hierba del Sapo supports the kidneys, helping them filter and clean your blood. It reduces cholesterol and triglycerides while promoting bone strength.

The final ingredient in Dr. Sebi's Viento is the bitter wood of Hombre Grande. This small botanical tree aids digestion and helps cleanse the intestines to remove mucus and acid from the bowel.
