The Perfect Immunity Shot Recipe for Fall

Last updated

The back-to-school rush and changing weather can take a toll on your health. With the increased exposure to new and different germs and the stress of a busy schedule, your immune system needs extra support.

Boost your immunity naturally with Dr. Sebi’s Immunity Shot, designed to help you stay well during cold & flu season — and beyond!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Start by preparing the Immune Support Tea: Boil 8 ounces of water. Drop a sachet into your cup, then pour the hot water over it. Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Measure out 3 tablespoons for the recipe.
  3. In a small glass, combine the tea, burdock root powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Mix well until the ingredients are fully blended and the burdock root powder and sea moss gel are dissolved.
  5. Add the lime juice and let cool to room temperature.
  6. Drink the immunity shot sooner rather than later to maximize its potency.

Optional

  • Follow with a cup of ginger tea (or the rest of the Immunity tea you prepared earlier) to further support your immune system.
  • Make a whole batch with an entire cup of tea, increasing the other ingredients accordingly. Refrigerate and consume within 3 to 5 days.

Benefits

Each anti-inflammatory ingredient in this immune-booster shot is loaded with immune-boosting health benefits:

  • Key lime juice is rich in antioxidants, which helps fight off colds.
  • Burdock root powder is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, cleansing the blood and strengthening immunity.
  • Dr. Sebi’s Immunity Tea harnesses the power of elderberry, a potent immune booster that can protect against seasonal illnesses and help reduce the duration of colds.
  • Cayenne pepper can help stimulate circulation and provide a natural defense against illness.

More Tips to Stay Healthy This Fall

  • Even as the weather cools, it’s important to drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and your immune system strong.
  • Include alkaline, seasonal foods like squash, apples, and pears in your diet to nourish your body with essential nutrients.
  • Wash your hands frequently with natural, chemical-free soap to reduce your exposure to germs.
  • Spend time outdoors during daylight hours to boost your mood and maintain healthy vitamin D levels.
  • Drink herbal teas like elderberry or ginger root to support your immune system and stay warm.
  • As indoor heating can dry out the air, use a humidifier to maintain optimal humidity levels and prevent respiratory issues.
