We Were Plant-Based Before It Was Cool (May 2020) – Dr. Sebi's Cell Food

Last updated

There has been a lot of hype surrounding plant-based diets lately. But did you know that Dr. Sebi was one of the first advocates of plant-based, alkaline diets? Keep reading to find out all about the benefits of an alkaline-electric, plant-based lifestyle.

The body's natural state is alkaline. Disease can only exist in an environment that is acidic. A healthy body has an alkaline pH balance and is naturally resistant to illness, such as viruses, bad bacteria, and disease. So when the body is out of balance and becomes acidic, it creates an environment that allows disease to manifest.

"Food that we eat is the very substance that causes the whole hormonal structure of the body to go haywire because it's on acid-base. So you're going to get acid thoughts." - Dr. Sebi

Maintaining a healthy alkaline balance is essential to staying healthy, purifying the body, and eliminating disease. And the only way to maintain a healthy alkaline state is by avoiding acidifying foods, and instead consuming foods and nutrients that are alkalizing in the body.

Avoiding Animal and Dairy Products

All animal products are acidifying when ingested. The human body was not designed to process meat or dairy.

As Dr. Sebi states, "when we believe that the milk of a cow and animal is sufficient to afford nutrition to a human body, then one has to question that because I am not an animal. That's common sense I think. Animals produce milk for animal babies."

Dr. Sebi Speaks About Milk

There are no animal-based foods that are alkalizing in the body. When eaten, meat and dairy products cause the body to become more acidic and throw off the natural alkaline balance intended for the body, resulting in other health issues. This is exactly why Dr. Sebi advocated a plant-based diet.

When we talk about diet, we don't mean the mainstream definition: a short-term plan to "get you in shape". A diet actually refers to the food a person eats and drinks, every day. Everything you consume for nourishment is considered part of your habitual diet. As for the term "plant-based", although it is a relatively newly coined term, it's used to define a diet consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits, and with no animal products.

Plant-Based Foods

Dr. Sebi has said, "it is not always easy to stop eating the many acidic foods we've enjoyed for so long and have become addicted to but it can be accomplished through cleansing and nourishing our bodies with the foods the Creator has."

Additionally, different plant-based foods have different benefits for the body. For example, as mentioned in this article, certain fruits and vegetables can improve oral health, increase brain performance, lower blood pressure, aid in weight loss, reduce the risk of chronic illness, protect against certain types of cancer, and have many other benefits. There are even foods that help protect your skin from the sun's UV radiation.

Additionally, ensuring you stick to seasonal fruits and vegetables is good for the environment, supports local farmers, ensures the food is at its most nutritious and reduces the risk of consuming damaging herbicides and pesticides.

But having a plant-based diet does not mean that you cannot still enjoy the food that you eat! There are tons of Journal to create delicious, healthy dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snacks, using plant-based alkalizing ingredients.

Check out over 100 healthy Journal from Dr. Sebi on his official YouTube page, and check out his Nutritional Guide for a complete list of foods to eat and things to avoid.

Going the Extra Mile

If you really want to maximize the benefits of your plant-based regime, you can add extra nutrients and organic supplements to your foods and diet.

Dr. Sebi's research has shown extensive benefits from natural cell foods to help your body become and stay alkaline, as well as reduce disease and remain healthy overall.

Consider adding Bromide Plus Powder to soups, teas, and smoothies. Bromide Plus provides all the benefits of sea moss discussed by Dr. Sebi, regulates the bowel, suppresses the appetite and helps in overall digestive health, which is essential for processing nutrients and helps you maximize the benefits of all other plant-based foods that you consume.

Additionally, Dr. Sebi's Green Food formula, made from mineral-rich ingredients, helps to alkalize the body, purify the blood, improve circulation and relieve allergy symptoms. It's anti-inflammatory properties also help to treat kidney disorders, urinary and digestive infections, rheumatism, influenza and more.

Food is the energy of life and eating a plant-based diet connects you to the organic world.
"It is the food that you eat that would reconnect you with the energies of life and then words are unnecessary because you could see. You're reconnected."
